Go To A Farmers Market. Even If You've Never Been.
Most of us drive past them. We see the signs, we mean to stop, and then we don't. Today that changes.
Today's challenge is simple. Go to a farmers market.
Not next weekend. This one.
Most of us drive past them. We see the signs, we mean to stop, and then we don't. There's always a reason. Not enough time. Not sure what you'd even buy. Easier just to go to the supermarket.
Here's the thing — a farmers market trip takes about the same amount of time as a supermarket run. Same car park logic. Slightly better coffee.
You don't have to buy anything. Just go and look around. Talk to someone if you feel like it. Notice where the food came from. Notice how it looks compared to what's under the supermarket lights.
That's it. That's the challenge.
Not sure if there's one near you? We've written about why farmers markets are one of the simplest ways to find real food in New Zealand. Take a read.
